Fans of Alcohol

Whilst I must grudgingly give ishouldbeworking a tiny amount of credit for putting me onto this, I feel I should share. British Sea Power's album is called 'Do You Like Rock Music?' and is out on Monday.

Turn the volume up. Resistance is futile ...

I'm sure it is very good. Sadly my PC isn't so sure and is refusing to play it - ah well. Perhaps see my comment on your last post.

I like that, and not just because it sounds rather like the Icicle Works...

I was expecting great things from these after The Word interview and favourable Maconie album review. While I love their attitude, the song sounds like the bland indie rock they're supposed to hate. I doubt Gary Lightbody's losing any sleep.

Nice video, shame about the song (copyright Not the Nine O'Clock News 1981).
