Actually John, that's a fine example of a Wild Highland Redbreasted Terrier. Might not look much, but they can be pretty mean devils, especially after a couple of drinks.
In fact, they're normally pretty wary of people, so if he's come that close, my guess is he's got his eye on Valentine's bottles of Ice Lightning (not pictured).

I don't ever recall seeing a finer specimen of the canine species. Surely this little fella's worthy of being entered into Crufts?
