Poetry Corner #3

Just kidding. You'll be devastated to know I've retired as an internationally and crtitically acclaimed poet.
Having pushed the envelope and moved the genre of Extreme Poetry to 'the next level', I've decided to call it a day.

I know it'll be hard on my fan, but all good things must pass. Think of me as a tragic Geri Halliwell, turning her talented back on The Shice Girls....

Aw go on, just give us a quick Limerick before you retire.I'll even give you the first line. "There was a young fellow from Staffs...."

There was a young fellow from Staffs
Who had an aversion to baths
He started to stink
so he jumped in the sink
and gave a lady from Brighton some laffs.

I knew that poetry tripe wouldn't last. Now, for the love of fuck, can we have a photo of some dogs?

I only come 'ere for the dogs.

I am of course devastated you understand that your career has come to such an abrupt halt being as it was so promising! - A poetry critic (perhaps - until she realises that this blog does not allow anonymous comments - oh well!)
