At about ten past four today, my local football team scored a goal, and the seventy plus year old man who sits beside me burst into tears..

Oh...that's lovely. It's a beautiful game.

It is indeed, mate.
I should apologise for the football slant. I never normally post about it, but today...

Congrats. Lovely quote from Mick McCarthy in this morning's papers.

Lots of tears in this house over poor Charlton.

Cheers mate. I may as well enjoy it, as it's likely to hard going next season.

Shame to see Charlton dropping down another tier. Hopefully they be able to climb back quickly, like Forest and Sheffield Wed have done..

Well done, a season of getting beaten by Wigan and Portsmouth awaits.

Maybe, BA. But fear of failure should be no excuse for lack of ambition. You don't want your lot to go down, just so you can win more games?

Last time (in the Prem) we beat Man U at Molinuex, and came back from a 0-3 half-time deficit to beat Leicester 4-3. Them's the games you remember..

Well, I'm quite a fan of 'The Championship'. News on teletext the other day (yeah, get me, I've stepped right into 1981) of a two-tier Premier League had me choking on my Ricicles.
